Shower Enclosure Wisdom
Tired of the old shower enclosure you can’t seem to clean and finally decide to replace? Well, before you fix the new glass in place, use some of the stuff you use on your windshields to prevent water from sticking to the glass and causing the gunk that builds up. You can also try having a piece of chamois in the bathroom to wipe off the water form the glass allowing it to dry and also preventing water stains as the water drops dry up leaving the minerals behind. The glass squeegee you use on your windows also provides streak free glass that is sparkling and shiny for may years, you can even use it on the bathroom tiles to get the excess water down the drain and preventing it from drying up on them.
There are a lot of cleaning products that can save you a lot of money in costly replacements such as powerful space-age cleaners you use once in a while to get rid of deposits and unsightly gunk. They are however very concentrated chemicals so be sure to read all precautions before purchasing them. Metals and some cleaners also don’t go too well due to corrosive chemicals that can eat away the finish of your expensive bath fixtures. Plastics and powerful solvents don’t mix so check the labels or test on an inconspicuous spot first before treating the whole enclosure.
